This blog will chronicle my quilting experiences. I have been sewing since my grandmother taught me to as a child. I loved it even then. Stash Report- January 23, 2011


Just had to have it! I bought a kit this week for a quilt that I saw made up by a fellow guild member. It is gorgeous! Problem is the quilt shop only had it left in a twin. Scoured the internet and could not find it anywhere else. So- bought it and then began to look for the fabrics to make it a queen. Fabrics are discontinued and nowhere to be found on the internet. Went to my LQS and bought fabric close enough in color to work into the log cabin blocks. This really added to my stash this week. C'est La Vie!

Used this Week: 12 yards
Used year to Date: 68 yards
Added this Week: 27.25 yards
Added Year to Date: 41.5 yards
Net Used for 2011: 26.5 yards

    That is indeed a pretty pattern! The purples make it pop. Good luck with enlarging the design.
