After visiting London and Paris with friends in the summer of 2006, we rented a house in Provence in a small village. It was a glorious experience. We began each day with breakfast at a local boulangerie, then off to a market somewhere in Provence. Believe it or not, they were all different. At the one in St. Remy I came across a vendor selling fabrics of Provence. I bought and created this quilt. One of my favorites. Each time I see it it reminds me of that glorious summer.
